The Reward Lab (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates therewardlab.com (the “Site”) and the Award Flight Search service. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Name and email address (at checkout, and if you contact us)
- Trip details you submit for the Award Flight Search service: destination, travel dates, number of passengers, cabin preference, airline and credit card loyalty program balances, layover preferences, and any other details you choose to share in that form
- Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by our payment processors (such as PayPal) — we do not receive or store your full card number
Information collected automatically:
- Basic site analytics (pages visited, general location by country/region, device type) via Shopify’s built-in analytics
- Order history and purchase details through Shopify
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Deliver the ebook you purchased
- Perform the Award Flight Search service you requested — your loyalty program balances and trip details are used only to research and prepare your report
- Send you order confirmations, service updates, and (only if you opt in) occasional emails about new products or services
- Respond to support requests
- Improve our products and this site
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Who we share it with
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which processes payments and stores order data
- FormSubmit — the service that processes the Award Flight Search trip-details form and delivers it to us by email
- Service providers who help us operate the business (e.g., email delivery), bound to use your data only for that purpose
We do not share your loyalty program balances or trip details with any airline, loyalty program, or third party beyond what’s needed to prepare your search report.
Data retention
We keep your order information as long as needed for legal, accounting, and business purposes. Trip-detail submissions for completed Award Flight Search orders are retained for 12 months and then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing support@therewardlab.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, the GDPR in the EU/UK, the CCPA in California, or India’s DPDP Act) — reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request even if it isn’t strictly required where you live.

This Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
